It’s funny in the summer time I always feel like breaking with convention and wearing all black, but now that it’s cold I find myself drawn to a pale palette of nudes. Can you tell I’m listening to Lykke Li and feeling very wintery at the moment? I’m short for words tonight so I’ll let this moodboard convey my thoughts and just say that I had the best weekend with my best friend. Even though nothing went quite the way we thought it would, and yoga eluded us, and we brunched so long that we missed the Impressionist exhibit.

I’m home and unpacked for just a few days, doing loads of laundry as I type. Then I’ll be off to see old friends and meet new ones and hopefully return inspired and ready for the start of a new year. I’ll spare you my monologue on how 2014 is escaping me (fastest year in history) and leave you with this quick post.
