I found the Michael Kors Spring 2011 collection to be extremely wearable, there were those brilliant green pants and these beautiful gold ones, both paired with an easy tee or sweatshirt.  There were so many looks that I could easily walk out the door wearing right now if there wasn’t one little thing standing in my way — the price tag. Which is why I flipped when I saw this super simple diy by Andy of Style Scrapbook. Simply trace a pattern out of a pair of pants you already own and love, use the pattern to cut a piece of gold fabric. Then sew up the seams, add an elastic waist band, throw on a sweatshirt and accessories and you’ve got a look right off the runway!

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and a happy mother’s day!

xoxo Cristina
