ART GALLERY:: Eclectic style

The more I get into interior design, the more I’m starting to see rooms as little art galleries. My eye is always drawn first to the art in a room, whether it’s abstract paintings or family photos, framed and hanging or just lining the floors – I never grow tired of seeing the different ways people display their art! This room has got a little bit of everything, and I’ve completely fallen for its eclectic style.

  1. oh this is awesome. great room.

    except the number of things on the floor (frames, books, pillows), if one is not careful could turn into clutter VERY easily.

    But love the throw on the back of the fancy chair. and are those framed movie stills (eg. the movie Airplane) on the walls? brilliant

  2. I couldn’t agree more, art properly framed resting on the floor is sometimes the most thrown together yet beautiful point of a room. Great post x
