There’s no denying the power of pink in this office. I’m always on the look out for interior design tips and tricks that renters can use (ie adding color without paint) so I’ve decided to start a little series called Renter’s Remedies, I hope you find it useful! To recreate this look in your apartment, create a large moodboard and prop it up on your desk against the wall. Layer picture frames in front of the moodboard to create a lived in, layered look. I believe the pops of pink in the artwork (and the laptop!) really make this office space, but a kelly green would look equally fab against a stark white wall and desk space.
Finally at the end of a gloriously long 5 day weekend… tragic! I ended up going to Melbourne after all — no thanks to Tiger airlines! I had to buy a ticket on Qantas mere hours before the flight at an exorbitantly high price. Tiger is definitely a budget airline (the original Tiger ticket only cost $30) but what good does that do me if they cancel, forcing me to buy from the more expensive carriers at the last minute? But I’m so glad I went, Melbourne was fantastic, a truly beautiful city. Plane flights and a few big nights out have left me in need of a large pair of sunnies until I can sleep off all of the wine and chocolate I consumed!
Hope you all had a fabulous Easter… now it’s back to work!
