INTERIORS:: Ryan Korban

Skater Chad Muska’s home, as designed by Ryan Korban.
“Wow,” you may be thinking, “that skateboarder has exceedingly good taste in interior designers.” But I think we can actually credit his girlfriend Vanessa Traina for that choice. Vanessa and Ryan are like that (I’m crossing my fingers btw).
This home serves to reaffirm Ryan Korban’s stronghold on the coolest interior designer position, AND proves the profound impact art has on a space. Remove all of the graffiti, topless Kate Moss, and artful hands flipping us off, and we’ve got an exquisite uptown loft that’s much more Manhattan elite and less Californication. The juxtaposition of the luxurious furniture and the irreverent artwork creates that fresh cool look that Ryan is known for.

  1. Been a Ryan Korban fan for awhile. Love his use of neutrals – silver, gray, black, white. Could do without the artwork giving me the finger every day, though. That’s gotta be bad feng shui.
